The Best Pumpkin Pie

Isn't this pumpkin pie just lovely? Yes, yes it is. And it's as yummy as it looks! Today I went to take a test for my Family Finance class, and all I could think about was "what pie am I going to make today?" I couldn't wait to get home and make this lovely pumpkin pie! It is simply the best!

So, although my grade suffered a little, I was dashed home to make this pie, and it definitely kept me all happy and joyful. Pie season is in full swing now that Thanksgiving is right around the corner! So pull out your rolling pins and frilly aprons, this pie is so easy, and it's guaranteed to rock your world.

Pumpkin Pie
INGREDIENTS
1 (15 oz) can pumpkin
1 cup heavy cream
1/3 milk
2 large eggs
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 Tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
1/4 Tablespoon salt

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Using an electric mixer, combine all ingredients in a large bowl, mix until incorporated. Place rolled out pie crust in a regular, 9 inch pie pan.  Pour pumpkin mixture into prepared pan and bake for 45-50 minutes. Pull out your pie when the filling is set but the center trembles slightly (filling will set as it cools). Transfer to rack and cool completely.
